This is excellent video taping, although I do feel happy that the Hyena survived if only initially. How did his legs get messed up, and what happened in the end? Did he go off with the other hyenas? Did the Hyenas adopt him or abandon him?

@ajp135212 Well good for you, sick fu*k. Hyena's often eat Lion's alive too. Hyena's are much more powerful pound for pund than a Lion. Bite force is stronger and Hyena's have a higher kill success rate when hunting prey and it's been proven. You're just sick and watch too much "Lion king" get off Youtube. Not everything is a disney movie.

@ashdog236 damn u going alttle to hard..lol relax there just animals but i perfer the king of the jungle...the lions are more dominant, there tougher 1000x bigger and stronger...ive seen 2 males lions send 15 hyenas running, and when the male lions lays hands on one its snaps its back pretty easy....they kill lions usually when there sick,hurt or outnumbered, they pick the right spots cu they kno what time it is..nobody goes to the zoo to see hyenas. lions are more amazing animials

very much agree. i never knew much about them until i got into docs in the last year. they are every bit the predator that lions are, just smaller. i remember reading or seeing that hyenas actually have better success when it comes to hunting then lions do. they can run close to full speed [ 40mph ] for atleast a few miles and those jaws will rip anything to shreds. very cool animal that gets a bad rap but imo just as cool to watch as lions are.

Poor little guy, I wonder if it survived that mauling ? However had it been fully grown males and not youngsters like these two, the Hyena would of been dead.

Funny thing about hyenas, they are MUCH bigger in person than they look from video. Massive mouths, massive, i think hyenas are amazing. AWESOME footage tin !! thanks :)
