It is called screencasting, my software was a bit pricy but there are some free alternatives, CamStudio & ScreenToaster (online) are a good place to start.
It says to Remix — to adapt the work. The big issue is most don't want you profiting from the work & also releasing it as CC. I link the page I got it from & give the author credit. My other channel I have used it as background music. The music I used here was public domain.
I think I 1st heard of ccmixer on Lawrence Lessig blog, but I found it again by just searching for creative commons music. I really wonder why the music industry would want to alienate their fans by removing the audio from our videos. Ain't that free advertising for them???? Can't hardly find music on these music TV channels anymore.

When they say remix, does that mean you mess with it? That isn't when you just apply it to video is it?
