@Omicronmu89 She was decent in my opinion; are you a cellist? We had two/three better cellists at the time, but we have so many concerts that we like to rotate the first row (top 4).

@Sanstout I'm not saying she's a bad player in general. This definitely isn't the easiest piece, but the quality of the the performance- her performance- was subpar in my opinion. I've played cello for less than a year. I've been playing violin for about 12 years and viola for 5.

I think she's worrying too much about intonation. As soon as the concerto gets moving, there's no time to worry, and her playing improves as it goes along.

@Caffeinefish This is true; she was soooo stressed about this performance because we had Brussilovsky performing and a lot of recruiters that night.
