Hey hemingwaywentz. Have you ever heard of a band called Led Zeppelin? They invented everything that any band or artists uses to date. Its just sad that people cant look to the source of the inspiration because somewhere in the movement of music through time, it has lost all sense of quality, soul, individuality, and thought. All I am saying is that if you think this type of music is above everything else, why don't you go back to the roots and see why music has lost its edge and passion.

Many blues bands/artists would make their own version of other famous blues songs. Still you are going to bring up the Spirit and Stairway thing well, that could be a horrible coincidence because descending rhythms were popular to blues musicians OR you're right and they stole that riff, but we won't ever know will we?

i read an article/interview with the lead singer. and he said that the name came about by trying to create a character much like the beatles' Srgt. Pepper. The first album was loosely based on that idea (fictional character) too. sorry if you didn't need that.

one of them is from washington and two are from alaska and moved to washington. i dont know which ones. i saw them live in tampa last week and i had no clue who they were before i saw them. the lead singer is really shy and they said had stage fright and he barely showed his face and he had his back to the audience for like the whole show. but they were good. i bought a shirt.
