  • Omg. Beautiful performance! WOW!

  • Any tips on how to get such a beautiful tone out of the bassoon?

  • @STMAKnightMike Well, the Renard series of Fox bassoons have this nice tone with their owm bocals. At this performance, I was using the CVX #3 that comes with the instrument. Now I have a Heckel cc1 because I need to play a little higher in pitch at my job. What kind of bassoon do you have?

  • @Albuermeduardo I've got a Renard by Fox, and I honestly have no idea what reed does what for your instument. Recently I've been playing on a Marlin Lesher and just switched to Jones....wood reeds of course. What are your recomendations on reed brands?

  • @STMAKnightMike I recommend you to make your own. I use Rieger cane and I am trying glotin also now. In terms of shape, do not use wide ones, because the pitch goes low with it. Also, do not leave he tip too thin. I hope this helps and I am open to any more questions. God bless!!!!

  • @Albuermeduardo Make my own? Is that even possible? I've got a longer reed nowand it's slightly wider then normal. Thanks you so much!

  • bassoon gorgeous tone.

  • @bdott77 Thank you so much!!!!

  • very fine playing, the clarinetist has a very beautiful tone and so with the bassoon, please down load some more. this is tops!!!

  • @joiegamboa Thank you so much!

Check out the trios with flute and clarinet in my favorites!!!!!

  • where could i find the music to this? i can't find it anywhere :/

  • @generatingideas I wish I could tell you. This music was brought by the clarinet teacher and he is not here anymore. Anyways, I'll check it out in the library and let you know! God bless!

  • Very fine playing by both of you! I love the clarity in the clarinet as mentioned above, but also in the bassoon. Well done!

  • Thank you!!!

  • @mohrbassoon Thank you so much!

Check out the trios with clarinet and flute in my favorites!

  • nice

  • I can't find this music! Where did you get it?

  • The confusion may be coming from a typo in the title: the composer's name is "Jacob" not "Jacobs"

  • I've only been playing bassoon for 3 years, that piece is something I would want to play with a friend

  • This piece was played well. BRAVO!!!to the musicians. Clarinetist Girard Villanueva has a very fine, crystalline distinct and clear sound and i believe he'll have a future as one of the best clarinetist in the world. He should be exposed more!!!!

  • i want this peice, were can i find it??

  • I played this at College and they have it here, but I guess you can find it in any music sheet store.

  • What's the name of this piece? No other mention of bassoon clarinet duet by Jacob can be found online.

  • Just bassoon-clarinet duet by Gordon Jacobs

  • muy bueno,..........los felicito, desde santo domingo, Rafelito, Wateke......
