  • That's Japan and that is why I love Japan.

  • i am Japanese. Thank you very much for posting this.

I fell my wallet on Friday Night in the middle of Roppongi, one of the most famous amusement center in Tokyo

    Inside was 40,000JPY, means 500USD.

    and it came back....

This is something we should not lose

    I am proud being Japanese.

  • Happend in Chandler arizona were lost the wallet going down the salt river and 2 days later i get a call and everything was still in it. to make things better the people that found it were not well off and were just good people. gives me faith that people can still do the right things

  • Yeah, I totally feel you there. The many times I've been there to visit my family, everyone is so unbelievably nice. I'm not even talking about in stores either, I mean EVERYONE! ... Er, wait, there was this one girl I ACCIDENTALLY elbowed in the face while I was taking off my jacket (It was an accident!) and she gave me the snottiest look after I profusely apologized. It was so American... But, um, yeah, that was my only incident there! (Being 6'2" and football player sized in Japan is hard.)

  • I wouldn't expect that to happen in Mobile, Alabama. Maybe without the cash. Of course, I've gone out of my way to find people to return electronics I've found... So maybe in Mobile... if you're lucky.

  • That is cool, here is a story for you. I was hiking in the woods in Alaska, lost my new $200 cell phone, 3 days later my cable modem for my internet broke down, so I went back to the company (not the same as the phone) to get a new one, when I go they ask me if I lost a cell phone, and they had it. How someone found it in the woods and how they knew it was mine still blows my mind, but good ppl in the USA too.

  • WOW that is really good news. Im so glad for u... the people there in Japan are such good people and good souls.

Trust worthy and noble ...with integrity. which it was like that everywhere

  • I live in the us and i had los tmy ipod on the bus (i was a freshman) And someone found it for me :) Yey for random acts of kindness !

  • Wow! Glad you got all your stuff back...you would never be able to come home without your passport! Thanks for keeping it a secret until the happy ending.
