@Heroinedown hmmm i don't think there is a pause button honestly since it's like an arcade machine but you can try looking in the configurations or w.e to find a pause button

@wer60313 The only substitute l found was when you play the game and you click on the tab above, the game freezes (the sound just loops to infinity) allowing me to take a small break during the game... That's better than nothing.

@wer60313 Now double click on the sf3 fight for the future euro ver.... It will load up and then the cps3 menu will ask to rewrite the disk... Hit yes... It takes about a half hour or so but when it's done you don't have to do it again. Now you have 3rd strike the way it was meant to be. Remember this process for all games that require chd files. Just add the chd to the zipped rom. So many people make confusing tutorials!!!! Bullshit!!!! I can't get sf3 to work on mame... SORYUKEN!!! Play hard.

Don't forget to put the 33000ssfii3 bin file in the new archive with the chd file.... ☺ Just harvest all the pieces you need from the 3rd strike that comes with the cps3 emu. Just copy the pieces so just in case you miss a step it'll remain working in the cps3 emu no matter what. MSH MSH vs. SF xmen vs. sf marvel vs. capcom... all these are better in mame than the stand alone emus...

@Heroinedown Let me know when you get it working. There is a huge difference in the graphic output of mame compared to cps3. And of course a big advantage of mame is that you can configure a dpad for all the cps2 games that you can't in Kawaks. Don't get me wrong... I love that this guys vid helped me get sf3 at all, but after the hell I went through learning to make killer instinct work in mame... I tried with sf3 and others and eureka! Just add chd to zipped rom and suddenly it was all clear.

In the mame32 all games list, the one you open for 3rd strike isn't the euro It's SF3 Fight for the future (usa 990512) but if you got frustrated you probably tried em all and found it anyway☺ Keep in mind that just like killer instinct and killer instinct two the name of the game will not be hilighted in green. At first I thought if it wasn't green it didn't work... Not so. Hope it all goes smoothly for you.

Find the F12 button and look to the right. You should see "Print scr/Sys Rq", "Scroll Lock", and "Pause/Break". The "Pause/Break" button will pause the game. :)

@Heroinedown The cps3 emu is great and all, but mame plays the game better and in STEREO!!!! Heres what you do... Go into the cps3 folder and copy the zipped sfiii3 rom file to another folder... Then copy the CHd file to the same folder... Now open the zipped rom (not extract just open with winZip or what have you) ad the chd file to the archive.... Now take the new zipped rom file that includes the chd and just put it in your mame roms folder. Go into mame and hit refresh... SEE NEXT---->

This is one of the most ridiculous tutorials ever. Just get yourself a recent release of FinalBurn Alpha and sfiii3n.zip. FinalBurn Alpha's the name of the emulator. It's also an arcade emulator like MAME, Nebula and Kawaks, but it's the best. So, just Google ''finalburn alpha'', and it should be one of the first search results. Next, just look for ''sfiii3n.zip'', and chuck it in the ''ROMs'' folder, open up FBA, and click Game>Load game... and scan ROMs. There you go, click the game and play.

i did this damn thing anyway, it says unable to load emulation. i put the file i downloaded from your link that said 10, 20, 30 etc, in the chd folder, and the sfii3.bin file in the roms folder. i extracted all files direct to the cps3 folder which is on my desktop. what am i doing wrong? ps i still hate kawaks until someone explains how it works. (and i can understand mugen but not that thing.)

if you mean with ggpo, then when you install it there should be 3 applications, called "ggpofba" something else lol and the online one "ggpo" located in the "program files>GGPO" click on "ggpo" and a window will come up asking u to log in to the server, create an account and your ready to go
