  • Chapman followed Lennon as he walked towards the gate. The gun felt like a woman in his hand and he caressed it, gentle at first, but slowly he began to squeeze the grip with ferocity. He began to breathe heavily and walked up behind John. Chapman called after Lennon, "Mr. Lennon." As John paused and the Little People screamed their approval, he drew the gun, raised it and shot John in the back twice.-Who put those little people in MDC's head? • john lenin the communist dirtbag looks so stupid with his little hippie get up on, im glad the communist rabble rouser got shot and killed

  • @MikeWebbsDead I think you mean Vladimir Lenin, but I think he died of a stroke, and I would not call him a hippie, I don't think the 1920's had hippies. He was a communist though.

  • @larryinc64 Did you just look him up on Wikipedia or something?

  • WHERE'S THE SOUND?

  • thats a joke they did'nt no they were the most alsome grup that erver was'

  • George Harrison - bottom left of screen at 0:04

  • In 72 John ,Bob and George went to an Elvis concert at Madison.

  • how can THE BEATLES go to a concert, surrounded by other ppl and not get chased or botherd for autographs?

this just realy confuses me :\

  • @iloveanimals12341 Seriously! I mean if I were at this concert I'd be more interested in The Beatles the second I saw them.

  • @iloveanimals12341 That's what I was wondering! I would have been all over them...

  • still have my ticket....really

  • Isle of Wight, correct?

  • where´s george?

  • @vitorbastos123 A un lado de ringo

  • I see George's wife there also.

  • Imagine hanging out with these guys on a Dylan Concert.

  • Amazing how Ringo can change his hair and beard so drastically and not look a day different as the first Featles interview in December 1966 outside EMI. Faul on the other hand....

  • Was that Cynthia next to John?

  • @FromHundredAcreWood no, i think its fake

  • @FromHundredAcreWood Looks like Patti Boyd, George's ex. So this adds to the thought that George may've been there, as well.

  • amazingg, i wish i were in the audience:)

  • how come the beatles didn't headline this festival BEATS me.

  • @alexTV maybe it's because you "BEAT" them to it...

  • @alexTV Because the Beatles weren't playing live anymore and pretty much sick of playing together at all.

  • Sorry, that's dylan69.com, not forgetting the three w's.

  • My novel about the 1969 IOW festival is out on May 24, Dylan's 70th birthday. See dyaln69.com

  • Hey dont forget about george!

  • omfg, can you imagine that?? Being at Dylan's concert and standing next to John Lennon and Ringo? How cool would be that *sigh*

  • @ZZqezza I wasn't too far away from these guys. They were all in an area sectioned off form the crowd. I was off to the left of the stage about 100ft away. I was 16. It was a trip.

  • who is the blonde with John? cynthia lennon? 1969? i thought Yoko was Lennon´s girl by those days...

  • @angelespop Pattie Boyd, George's

  • it looks as if this took place right after shooting the Abbey Road cover.

  • @M4000D im mentioning your face!

  • Aww Ringo and Maureen :D They were one of my favorite Beatle couples lol.

  • @shmadsta Mine was always Pattie and George ^^

  • watch?v=46CNp89_52Y

  • george is there to

  • @madfrog1962 your face is there too!

  • George Harrison at 0:06

  • George Harrison is at 0:11 also

  • Paul & Linda just had a new baby (Mary)...so he wasn't there...the 3 Beatles and Dylan had a jam session later that evening...

  • リンゴのとなりジョージやん!

  • Audio?

  • This must have been after Paul died. The other 3 are there.

  • @jloughin Paul. Didnt. Die.

  • @jloughin paul is still alive idiot

  • @jloughin Paul didn't die , you idiots

  • Great clip !

Its best viewed just sitting and rapid clicking the pause button.

Since its so short and flys by fast, you can see a lot more.

    George is at 11 seconds.

  • "Hey, you want to go to a concert, George?"

    "Yeah, sure, whose?"

    "Bob's"

    "Dylan? Yeah, I'll go."

    "Wanna invite Ringo?"

"Yeah, Y Not" (ha get it)

    "Should we invite Paul, too?"

"Let's not and say we did."

    "Haha, okay, George."

  • @unkommon2001 I lold

  • @unkommon2001 lol you funny--- and probably true... but that's Jan 69, right? In the midst of Twickenham... a night off from that mess...

  • @unkommon2001 Haha well Paul'd be too busy going solo to say yes :)

  • Very cool. Harrison is there.

  • Actually, best shot of George is at 0:11

  • It also seems Dylan is playing with The Band.

  • Patti!

  • Im surprised that the others at the concert werent, like, jumping all over them in excitement XD

  • @LopanTheLemming they weren't cause they are Dylan fans, not that they aren't Beatles fans, its just if you go to a Dylan show you are excited to see Dylan, and sitting with Beatles is a bonus

  • Where's Paul?

  • @tjsmith51 Paul is dead.

  • @Carthsting I hope you are joking, cause Paul really isn't dead. If you are not joking then I ask this. Where's Faul? That better?

  • @tjsmith51 I buried Faul.

  • @Carthsting LOL

  • I was at this concert and only a few rows behind John, Ringo and George and remember seeing the backs of their heads as they watched Dylan perform...it actually was on August 31, 1969...

  • @Lineberrys i envy you.

  • @Lineberrys i can't believe!! ;D

  • @Lineberrys Were you stoned?

  • @Lineberrys

    bullshit.......

  • @Lineberrys REALLY?

  • @Lineberrys Damn that is an experiance!

  • yeah wanted to say that saw George for a sec - but second time over did not look like him. Unless the guy in the hat is him. But Patty is in the frame most of the time :) she's really lovely. And Yoko towards the end

  • yeah wanted to say that saw George for a sec. But Patty is in the frame most of the time :) she's really lovely. And Yoko towards the end

  • It is likely that much of the set was comprised of "Nashville Skyline' in anticipation of it's release that fall.

  • we all like to look. but how about some sound

  • Harrison to the right of Ringo at 0:11. This is the period in which John, George and Ringo were somewhat distanced from Paul. Paul was busy getting married.

  • The Beatles broked up way too soon. Why couldn't it be the RollingStones that died off. Can't stand the RollingStones!

  • @shoa31

    serious shit.

why couldnt yoko marry one of the stones.................

  • @joker0187 -

It was because of John Lennons love for Yoko Ono that powerful love songs were created. "Imagine" would not have been written if Yoko wasn't in his life.

  • @shoa31

she still killed the Beatles. sure i do love imagine, but i would have preferred more beatles songs. had it now been for her, i would most certainly think we would have had at least 5 years left of beatles..................

  • @joker0187 -

The Beatles were already together for 8 years before they came to America. And then another five more years before they finally broke up to pursue their own married life with children. As a group, they were tired of being together, but as friends, it was eternal. But the RollingStones just didn't know when to quit even when their songs were just getting worse and uncreative. Check out "Beatles Anthology" right here on YouTube. It's about 9 hours long.

  • @shoa31 I TOTALLY AGREE !!!

  • Isn't Harrison there aswell? On Ringo's left at 0:10

  • @Busanbusan nope!!

  • thats pattie boyd in the black hat great footage

  • wow...that wuz pretty fkn cool...

  • Bob Dylan will be here in Yakima, WA next Saturday, I wonder if Ringo will attend.

  • is this my f*** computer or this rare bootle have no sounds on ? thx -Y-

  • is thid my f*** computer or this rare bootle have no sounds on ? thx -Y-

  • This was the Isle of White concert, one of only 3 Concerts Dylan performed in 1969. It was held on August 31, but judging from the date on the film it extended past midnight to September 1st, thus the 1/9/69.

  • There seems to be a discrepancy here. Dylan only did 3 concerts in 1969, 5/1, 7/14 and 8/31, yet in this video there's a date of 1/9/69, which could be either January 9th, or September 1st. I got this from the BobDylan.com concert archive. By Dylan's look, it was probably around that time, but I think the exact date is wrong on the film.

On second thought, it was probably the Isle of White concert of August 31s, which probably extended past midnight to September 1st. OK, that makes sense.

  • @bridgit2451 the was yoko fuck face

  • Is that Pattie at 0:23??

  • Ringo looks sexy there... yum.. he used to be my favorite Beatle.

  • 0:11

OMG, George looks like Ringo on the cover of Let It Be! :D

just goes to show that even legends like the beatles can appreciate other artists' works too. back then, most music groups were good sports about that stuff. unlike today with people constantly arguing over who the best musical group/performer is. i wish people would just SHUT UP and listen.

  • @Berenueve thats definitely not George.

  • @back2realitygal11 I believe its him

  • @Berenueve No. Definitely not. You can see him and Pattie IN FRONT of John and Ringo. That guy may look a bit like him, but he's not.

  • @back2realitygal11 what would Pattie be doing there, if not with George?

  • @Jerryjeffelvis i think your right, i just paused at 0:11 and im pretty sure i saw him

  • The Beatles were in the Pop genre

  • well said jackbliss

  • LOL some girl notices John too and stares in the black and white portion of the video. She's on the right. xD

  • 0:12 george can be cleary seen or it george!?

  • Lol I can tell this was during the Abbey Road sessions for the Beatles.

  • George was there, fer sure...there are photographs of this concert crowd in various Beatle-related books that showHarrison to Lennon's right.

  • Same here jackbliss! totally agree!

  • this could never happen today, now if some famous person goes to an important concert they arrive on a red carpet with a shit load of photographers....

  • @ClasicRko except arctic monkeys

  • i think George is there too ,that looked like Pattie Boyd to Lennon's right

  • No way that is George,

  • @VideoByPatrick It looks like him at first, but then as he continues to turn his head it doesn't, but the blonde next to John is Patti, so I guess it must be George. Yoko is on the other side of John.

  • Is that Cyn next to John ?

  • Is that Cynthia next to John ?

  • @VideoByPatrick No, but I think that's Pattie.

  • Is that Cynthia ?

  • Is that John's first wife by his side ?

    Loyal Ringo...on the other side.

  • Is that his first wife with him ??

  • I'm not sure if the guy next to Ringo is George, but towards the end that's definitely Pattie Boyd standing by John and Yoko.

  • It totally is George. He's there with Pattie Boyd. Mo is there with Ringo and Yoko is there with John.

  • @MollyGirl61790 yeah you can see george @ 0:12 and yoko @ 0:24

  • 9 days after shooting the Abbey Road sleeve

  • george appears also at 0.12

  • That is not George

  • well, but in a rapid glance in the dark, he really looks like Georde. But at. 0.10 we can see, in fact, that that's not George.

  • The people in the audience are just staring wide-eyed like "oh... my... god..." running into a Beatle must be like seeing a unicorn

  • I'm going Isle of Wright this year, Maccas playin there can't wait.

  • they are god please, the best of all, we need to keep their music alive, top top!!!

    blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont care what the date says this isnt 1969 this is the beatles in jan 1970 going to the dylan concert you can tell by the way they look, they didnt look like this in jan 69 and the let it be film proves that.

  • Thank You Bob Dylan for introducing The Beatles to marijuana! I don't think we would have SPLHCB or Magical Mystery Tour.

  • I'm going to the iow festival this yesh and I'm gonna aaa Paul McCartney live. Can't waittt xx

  • I see John, Yoko, George & Patti Harrison, & Ringo

  • August 31,1969...

  • faulmacca: This fottage is a gem. I will include the reference in an article about the Beatles. Could you please include the name G. Harrison (he is in the audience)in the title, to make it look something like: "J. Lennon, R. Starr and G. Harrison at a Bob Dylan Concert". Thanks man, and thx for positng this. It's history!!

    Cheers!

  • John, George and Ringo are all in this video. If you look closely at the second shot of Ringo you can see George beside him.

  • @beetle771 Yeah George is there becasue the blonde woman close to John is Pattie Boyd.

  • @beetle771 Also, if you stop it at 0:05 you will watch George eye.

  • Bob Dylan had the Beatles /wives over the Forelands Farm. The Beatles arrived in a chopper and took on a piled up with Bob in a white van to get to the site where the Isle of Wight was taking place. After Bob's number, which atracted the audience of a 100, 000 plus, they returned to the farm where Beatles played acetates of newly recorded Abbey Road to Bob and ended up jamming Beatles songs and old RnR tunes along with 'The Band'.

  • I think this video is photo shopped...I don't think this could've been in the can for so long...look closely at the hairlines...the Ringo shots are from the Hey Jude shoot..where he is looking around at all the people in the studio...and the Lennon shots look like some Abbey Road rehearsal shots...Done really well though... Could be so...I just think it's bizarr to be "new" at this time.

  • @Chinawest1 Your weird

  • at 0:11 isn't that george?

  • @vangela321 you are right, that's George

  • it most certainly is not George...sorry!

  • Comment removed

  • @vangela321 nope his nose is way too big its definitely ringo

  • talking about the man next to ringo, please think before writing

  • @pinapple25

No, I meant the guy next to him.

I think I'd be able to distinguish Ringo from George, thank you very much ;)

  • that isnt Geaorge Harrison beside Ringo Starr. Im sure the camera man would have filmed him had it been

  • The time they are a-Changin.

    Bigup's to the beatles, also!!

  • i see patty boyd harrison next to john ,so i am asumming george is there too.

  • It's really refreshing to see how simple, modest and humble even the greatest musicians really were back then when even legends can stand in a crowd of ordinary people appreciating another great artist performing without bitching or causing a huge fuss over it like today's even meagerly talented popular artists do... I'm looking at YOU Kanye West >:(
