i hate that most tv shows does't use the right robin because it's easier to use the better known one. I like Grayson, but tim drake is awesome too... and obviously i TOTALLY want a show with Damian AND Tim included. It'll rock to see the whole bat family in one show xD

I originally thought this Robin was Tim Drake, but the creators of the show said specifically this is Dick Grayson. He acts like Tim Drake and so it's confusing, but this is an Alternate Universe so he can still be Dick Grayson.

hey dude found out that car toon net work wouldn't let them air the show with Tims name in it because the Tim drake robin name no longer belongs to them. and CAN NOT use it r any other names of robin be sides dick grayson. just for the main fact that the robin in teen titans is sapost to be dick and they have it playing on boomerang. (sorry for any spelling mistakes pple :D)

Actually, Dick Grayson lead the original Young Justice league but later gave that title to Tim Drake after he became Night Wing.

Which is a shame, because Grayson sucks as Robin (He became cool AFTER stepping out from under Batman), Wally is just plain tiresome with the constant cheesy flirting (I've seen this in the comics too) and I just want to slap the Earth 16 M'Gann every time she 'Hello Megan's herself.

I would like to point out that Earth 16s Young Justice is essentially the Teen Titans with a different name. They've got Superboy instead of Wondergirl, replaced Speedy with Artemis, tacked on Miss Martian and invented a new Aqualad but it still seems like a less comedic take on the original Teen Titans.

To save myself frustration, I've been pretending that Dick started Young Justice and then went to Teen Titans, with Tim following after--but I like the earth-16 story better.

Tim Drake is the best Robin. Period.

technically they used dick in the show because they used dick in teen titans so that's y aqua lad said that he has the most experience and because he is the original robin. plus in the yj comic i found it sorta fallows the show and they use dick in it not tim

@cheiro68873 This show has nothing to do with Teen Titans. In the comic book, Dick is not a part of YJ, he is a Teen Titan.The comic you are referring to is probably the tie-in comic and not an official canon DCU comic.

Umm if you watch the episodes properly. In the episode artemis is transferred to gotham academy. Barbra gordon adress's thee robin as Dick. Referring to Dick Grayson. ( Richard -.- ) So maybe you should idk....do real research on it? before tryna sound cool by saying its tim drake. >.>

Do some real research and you will find out in the TV show the Robin used is Grayson, but in the comics it is TIM DRAKE. I prefer Drake over Grayson and made this a tribute to the COMIC YJ Robin, but used the TV SHOW ROBIN for the visuals because I did not want to make a slideshow of comic book pages. @godschampion01 TT was first published in 1960s. YJ was first published in 1998. It was formed because the Teen Titans had grown up to become the Titans and were now adults. So in the comics, once again I state, Tim Drake was the Robin in Young Justice. Only in the show is the YJ Robin Grayson. In the comics, Grayson is a Teen Titan, not a Young Justice member /rant

He was nine (circus, dead parents, Bruce took him in, remember?) and stumbled on the Batcave, therefore revealing Bruce/Batman. That's why he ended up becoming Robin; he wanted to help.

He is saying that I have the characters confused in that the show uses Dick but I made the tribute out to Tim. @youngjusticegirl If you like Dick Grayson because of how he appears in YJ, then you pretty much like Tim Drake. As the uploader said, the costume, the mask, the skills, the general personality are all generally attributed to Tim. Tim is pretty much the best detective robin whilst Dick was the better fighter. But Dick became slightly darker and more obsessed and reserved, like the Robin in Teen Titans, or Nightwing later on.

Totally right!! Robin has so much to live up to and like off treasure planet robin also didn't have a father growing up, he had Bruce. Even tho batman is a father figure to him its not the same.

Also like most of you said he doesn't have powers. Everyone under estimates him even the bad guys. None of this is suppose to get to him but it does, and if you haven't notice in young justice every acts like robin is so fragile. HE IS NOT FRAGILE!! @fuzzyrats12 Well, there was already one with superboy and he isn't my favorite character. Not to mention superboy is established as being near all-powerful. Robin is the youngest on the team, tried to be a leader and failed, is rather weak when compared to the other guys, none of the girls are swooning over him, and he is living in Batman's shadow (that is a lot to live up to). People see Robin and either expect Batman to show up, or expect him to be exactly as perfect as Batman
