  • Robbie is one of those guys that looks better as he got older. He certainly learned how to make his hair look LESS wild. His voice stayed incredible.

  • Amazing live version of an amazing song! Somehow I missed what this song was about the first couple of times I listened to the CD. Talk about a facepalm moment -- D'OH! Now, I can't hear this song without getting choked up. Also loved the way they did PTGT and FFWF in this show, too! And I think the fact that they did this one in this show should also put to rest the notion that Walsh or anyone else in the band ever "had a problem" with the Christianity in Livgren's lyrics....

  • Best K Song on, 'Somewhere to Elsewhere' *

  • @KANSASuuuuROCK

Completely agree. Sounds like the Kansas of old. Great song!

  • Distant Vision video from the same concert shoot was an added item on the enhanced release of (I think) Device-Voice-Drum - CD version. I would check but I seem to have grown a habit of losing my Kansas CD's. Dang!

Masque, D-V-D (CD), King biscuit, In the spirit of things, Always never the same and Disc one from the 2-disc box set have all gone. [sigh...] Pretty much all else is on my itunes tho.

  • somewhere to elsewhere was an example, that it still could work between kerry and steve.

  • best song of a great album

  • =TRUE K MASTERPIECE= 100 %

  • I saw these guys in 1999 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. How cool is this: They pulled up in a van pulling a uHaul trailer, humped their own equipment on and off stage, and kicked ass!!!! The saddest part was that I was working that night, right at the backstage area, and got to ride the service elevator with Dave Hope and Steve Walsh. They were just humble, cool, regular dudes. The venue only held about 1,500, and had only sold about 800 tickets. But, they were just happy to be playing.

  • masterpiece!

  • This is a very intense piece of music .

Kerry is all over this..... You can smell it !

  • Awesome Lyrics. KS Rocks.

  • This was very well-done. Kansas rocks no matter how young or old they are!!!

  • Fantastic song ! What a great blend of fusion.

...That Blind Men, see you too...

Are they singing, "And I" or "And die" ? Too Cool.

  • A masterpiece from the crew of the progressive flagship - Kansas!

  • Great Song , It is my favorite song from somewhere to elsewhere album.

  • excelent song, great finale

  • What about the Bonus track? :P I wanna live in a geodesic dome!

  • that was a good track, worthy of admission alone. It was the "reunion" album, though really, the original bandmembers never left the band, as it seems to be a collective spirit. I miss Robby, I hope he finds what makes him happy, would love to see a solo album from him.

  • Is Device, Voice, Drums made by Wayne Lytle, the guy who created Animusic?

  • YES. Texas. GREAT Animation.

  • I love this video! I have the DVD and watch it often. Kansas Rocks!!!

  • Why was not on the DVD for can't believe it how many more were on! This is brilliant thanks

  • They should have added it. Instead it's on the bonus DVD disc that comes with the "Sail On" boxed set. There's lots of great 70s live footage on there too. A must pretty much!

  • love this song

  • i think this was on the dvd but you could only watch it if you put it in your computer

  • where can i found this video song.

  • Device Voice Drum DVD. Most on line music stores have this.

  • Best song from an already fantastic 'comeback' album.

  • Could this be an "Easter Egg"? by the way, GREAT song on a VERY underated album :) -MAVIII(progulus. c o m) <-----internet Prog Rock/Metal station :D

  • In case you bought the DVD and this song was missing... Incidently, DVD really stood for "Distant Vision Devoid"

  • Device Voice Drum
