@5YApart Make sure to choose the "Dry Input" in Pod Farm. I don't know about the UX2, but on my Pod X3, the Dry Inputs are Inputs 7 and 8. Go to File --- Preferences, then click on the "Hardware" tab. Then chose the right "Input Channel" ;)

While some poeple complain about the fact that the guitars does'nt sound good, I think they sound pretty natural which is a plus when it comes to amp simulators. Most of the time, they really sound bad precisely because there's way too much gain, hi-mid and bass. But the tone you made avoid those common mistakes and unatural favors. Congratulation.

A nice full, rich sound. A bit too soft for my taste though.. This was a bit like, maybe Pantera or something. I prefer supermegaiuoshdfiohrtfiuov-dis­tortion like Abominable Putridity, Katalepsy and Guttural Secrete.

Boy do I feel like an idiot. The eq and amp models are there on my pod farm. Problem is, I authorized ux2 on where it says COMPUTER, but under COMUPTER, I had to ALSO click authorize ux2 device, which I didn't see before. i don't think I've ever had to authorize 2 things before, which is what confsed me. Awesome

I don't know what's wrong with my ux2/pod farm. I reinstalled pod farm because it wasn't working right. So, after I did that, I had TONS of amps/cabs and all that good stuff. It said version 2.1. I couldn't use that because it said I needed to upgrade to 2.51. I did that, and guess what? All those cabs/amps--there's hardly any to choose from now. PLUS, there is NO EQ! like there was on 2.1 There are no presets to choose from but about half a dozen.

but for me - differents really noticeble... I cant have tube amp in my room - he'll be to loud for my apartament)))

I'm having a problem with my UX2 and Pod Farm 2.5, i cant play any heavy metal/palm muted distorted shit without it having an irritating fuzz sound in the background... i have a noise gate on, and im using an ESP EX351D with EMG HZ pickups... can u help me?

If have some noise try to backup some gain. Because with more gain you loose attack, and sound will be more Wet))

Yeah it does sound like recto, and polished as well. A real recto can sound worse if you don't know what you are doing - bad acoustics, hum, comb filtering, slap-backs from the walls, out of phase mics, etc. I personally prefer to record with a real amp, because the sound out there in the room makes me drool, and inspires me to play. Digital distortion sounds like a distortion. Tube distortion sounds bad ass and indescribable - like your amp is alive, brooding, and plotting your destruction.

And i want real amp, but in my situation =- i have small room , and neighbours...

So i prefer vst now , but we all need Tube Head for mode Sonic Sounding Production..

it is referring to an actual clock 12 o clock means the knob is set at the halfway point on the amplifier. 1 o clock would be a little more than half way.

@vitriol81 Double track - just record twice left and right guitar - than group it and use eq in your daw - all daws have eq with hp and lp.  Now i am shooting video about mixing guitars, so))

actually eq do some filter things. youtube really cuts the sound quality in my video(i dont why), so you cant hear how eq work with hi freq...,))
