you cant pillar with fox... O.o Only with falco, its SHFFL dair-shine repeat ON A PERSONS SHIELD. Doesnt work with fox's drill attack. You meant to say Lunin is one of the best foxes' at drillshine.

I have been playing fox since these 3 months, I know fully understand the fox pillar. However, because of the shield lag it is quite common to miss the l cancel and not get the shine out in time. Lunin is quite good to know the timing, as the number of drills can vary. Thanks for the reply tho :)

If he has such fast fingers that he can waveshine with almost no shine(that first one at least) why doesn't he SHDB? Seems like it wouldn't be a problem for him.

Completely different skills/movements. Also, SHDL is generally just flashy and not terribly necessary.

and no, it's not differnt movements. the only reason it's different is that you go from y/x to b rather than the reverse. in both cases the quickness is for moving between b and y/x.

Waveshining is easy. Once you get a feel for the motion of it, it's really not difficult at all. It's also really useful and necessary.

SHDL is tapping jump and hitting B as fast as possible. It's much more difficult and requires a bit of thumb spazzing out to do it consistently and effectively. It's also flashy and kinda cool, but not terribly important.

I didn't say waveshining is hard. I said waveshining incredibly quickly is hard. If you can waveshine quickly like lunin then your fingers are fast enough to SHDL -_-

if you practice tech skill its easy i can SHL, and reverse SHL, SHDL,waveshine,drillshine, infitnite shine. if you dont main fox its like "whoa" but if you main fox its important to. the shl/shdl stops people dd camping or camping all together which is super helpful when your playing a dd camping marth or a defensive peach
