What's the difference between a salmon/hypo and a salmonite? Or are they the same thing? Lol sorry if that's a dumb question :p awesome boa by the way!
That's not a dumb question at all. a hypo boa is a hypo morph common boa constrictor (BCI). A salmon boa is a specific bloodline of hypo boa (still BCI) that is usually much brighter and cleaner in color/pattern than a regular hypo. A salmontine boa is a cross between either a hypo or salmon boa and an Argentine boa(BCO). So a salmontine is a hypo or salmon morph boa that has some argentine(BCO) blood in it.
@BoasOfColor oo nice! do salmonites get bigger then regular salmons because I heard Argentine boas usually get bigger?anyway thanks for answering my question!
This girl is 75% argentine boa(BCO) and only 25% common boa constrictor(BCI). Notice that she has a different pattern than most hypos or salmons. Look up "argentine boa BCO" on google. And you will see how differet they look from the common red tails that everyone is used to seeing
