i think when he opens his arms and looks up to the sky at the beginning he is letting some demonic spirit in to do this levitation once he gets to the other building at the end he falls to the ground due to the spirit leaving his body.

No... Actually, he is held up by a large crane... You don't see the thin but very strong wires because of the suns glare... There's an actual revealing video on here somewhere about it, done on the masked magician show.
