God damn light pukya to light kick. I can't figure out the secret to landing it. I just keep mashing light kick until it comes out, but then the third trial is impossible to do that way

@MFCirca Tip for completeing trial 2 that i used.

first, you have to time your light kick but while your doing that, this applies only if your using a pad, hold forward so you have a head start on the h.shoryuken.

It worked for me :)

Best way to do trial two is to do the dragon punch motion during the second crouching light kick then tapping both punch buttons. Its one of those, shortcut type combos that's a little hard to pull off as oppose to standing light kick into ex shouoken.

Alright, I have a question. I just picked up the game and never really played any of the previous games. An out-of-state friend of mine who goes to tourneys told me I have good execution, but there are a few things I still find troublesome.

After doing one light kick or light punch I have no problem chaining another move into a combo. But when I try more than one light punch or light kick leading into another move, then it wont execute the special that I attempt. Why is this? Can you help?

for number 2 there is another easier way to do, jump in H.P, crouch 2 lite kicks, then crouch lite punch, crouch mid kick and Ex shoryuken.

yeas i was stucked, on it. it may be looks dificult but is easy, and don't need too much speed. all u have to do is, after heavy punch and the first light kick, begin the motinon of the shouoken, since u r holdin down, press light kick again and then complete the motion of the special pressing the punch, and you will pass this one. If you start the motion after the second light kick you'll make a light punch, even if u press The PPP button! :) good luck

Trial 2 you can "cheat". The main requirement is that the EX shououken at SOME POINT after the 2 light kicks. The real way to do it, is to LINK the 2 light kicks rather than spam them and still have them combo (if that makes sense), like say, instead of LKLK, do LK..LK, but that's harder to combo correctly. If you don't want to do that, you can still "cheat". What I did was crouch LK,LK,LP,MP, then EX shououken since that link is actually easier to do, and it still counts as a success.

I've cleared all of Ryu's trials, and Gen, Dhalsim and Akuma. I thought sakura was the easiest out of the five. But could you help me out with Ken's third hard trial? I cant do the heavt shoryuken, ex focus cancel, medium shoryuken and THEN his ultra (Shiryuken). Please help, in return, i could help with some others.

Not sure about SF4, but that move has pulled them into the air with her in every other game it's been in.

That move will hit the opponent while they are in the air OR on the ground, but like spacewrat said if you hit your opponent while they're stading the move will literally pull them upward with you.

Sakura is my #1 Character; nothing like some fast-paced shoto action!

Although I can't get past the last of the "Easy (yah right)" trials.

Maybe I need a Joystick because my left thumb is raw and there is a pile of grey rubber on my 360 controller!!! =D
