OK tehknic, I was about to compliment your SAS. Looks good but I saw that it started as a 2wd so, even mo' betta! Nice job! Question, I also have a 2wd F-150. 1994 factory 302, 5spd. with air SWB. How hard was it to convert to 4wd? I know it prolly took alot in sourcing parts etc. but everyone tells me to get rid of it and buy one thats already 4wd. Your thoughts? btw, I rebuilt the 5spd last winter and then the motor this last summer so... you can see why I may want to hang onto it
@stunna1050 its not too bad. but you are going to have a hard time finding a front end that has the same gear ratio as the back. I took a 1987 chevy truck 2wd auto and made it a 4wd by buying a 1987k5 blazer I took the front end and rear end out of the k5 blazer and put it under the 1987 chevy truck and then all you have to do is cut a hole in the floor for the 4x4 shifter. and dont forget you need a 4x4 tranny to the 2wd tranny wont work.

how big of a spring lift do you have in the front? and where did you buy those tie rods? sweeet truck looks like mine but mine rakes down in the front ):
the only thing that truck needs now is for you to paint the ford on the tailgate white..gotta be proud of what you're driving man. let the people know!

@firewithin6666 I got the axle out of a 79 Bronco. You should be able to find them for a few hundred. It's the same 5x5.5 lug pattern.
