Too many men in gov. law that went corrupt. Nobody seems to realize that someday they are more likely to reap heart-ache and suffering for sowing their greedy wickedness. For every act, there is a reaction in the secular view of it!
He works at the CFTC, the same organization that Brooksley Born worked for -- she was the lady that fought (and lost) against Larry Summers, Bob Rubin, Alan Greenspan & others -- she questioned the lack of oversight in the derivatives market. This was a major factor in the collapse of 2007-now. The corporate raiders run the show in DC...it's literally the fox making the rules in the hen house. Bar subsidies and tax breaks, make laws more static, by enforcing 1-2 page bills that have to be consider and publicized WEEKS or MONTHS before they are ratified. Any change cannot extend the bill past 2 pages and must be public for a month. (This would include any treaties or other legislation)
Lobbyists would leave Washington as they would have nothing they could effectively do.
Please Please please turn Jay's mic UP!!!!! I can't freakin hear him mumbling. Put his mic closer to his mouth. It's like this every vid I see. It makes TRN look like a armature operation. He talks with a very low tone. I'm actually really surprised it's been going on so long with how important this is to so many people. Fire the sound guy... sorry but your not doing your job bud.
We have got to be the stupidest country in the world. Wall street is stealing our money in broad daylight and we do nothing. We were given an SOP by the founding fathers. They wanted us to fight and take back our country. But, we've been bought off and dumbed down. So, we deserve what we get.
@penlovmov - while it feels good to blame the victim, after someone is dumbed down, how can you blame them? Are you not putting more emphasis on the foolishness of the victims rather than the deliberate deceit of those perpetrating the dumbing down, etc.? It usually doesn't help anything to discuss alcoholism with someone who is still drunk. This mentality just feeds more into the logic of those who feel it is okay to take whatever you can if no one stops you.
this guy is a insider he knows what he is talking about but the bottomline is corporate banking is global and example aig and the others were bailed out by usa citizens on a global level! and the real shocker is that 80 percent of that bailout went to CEO'S supposedly writtne in stones BONUSES
@TheProTheosophist its something youtube does to prevent fraud. U know they get paid for views so its important to make sure views are legit, the real number pops up after a day or so.
You have to understand that it takes specialists to 'regulate'. I worked in the the coal mines of the UK from 16-21 where we 'used' to have books upon books of safety regulations which we studied - No government could decide on the the 'safe' levels of methane, the support distances, the drainage requirements of tips etc etc. So your guy comedian who accuses the 'act' of being deliberately vague is naive. Of course i understand the prob of lobbists - i just wanted to offer this.
My heart wants to believe this guy's benevolence and wishes him to succeed, but my brain tells me, that it's impossible within the existing powerstructure, where the greedy plutocrats (with the help of an army of faceless intermediaries) dictate the rules and conditions which the rest of society needs to abide. Indeed the relentless march toward ever more wealth into ever fewer hands, shall continue unabated.
It's all a simple matter of old surfer dude economics Paul!
