Thanks, pretty cool. I just got into this Rubik's cube thing and have now managed to solve the 2X2X2 (all by myself I might add). I spent a few hours of experimenting with random rotations to see what's going on. Now the way you solve it is very similar the way I solve it for the most part (but I'm not particularly fast). However, I hadn't noticed that rotation where you exchange the diagonal, so I'm going to look for it. Thanks!

This is a beginer method if you can already solve a 3x3 then this should be to easy! check out my video were i teach you how to solve it using the ortega method. i can solve it in 10 seconds and some can solve it in 5 seconds. come and watch it!

@13nileyrocks Sorry for the confusion, but there should always be touching pieces. Let's say the red or orange pieces aren't touching. Try looking at the green and yellow. I assure you, one pair will always be together.

this tutorial sucks learn the correct algorithms kid, its R- Right, D- Down, L- Left, F-Front, U- Up, I-Inverted(counterclockwise).

Ri, Di, R, D Was the first algorithm that you did. the second was Ri, Di, R, F, D, Fi, Ri, D, R.

And it dosent work in all cases when your solving a 2x2
