Right, well, obviously my "Top Gun" re-edit is still in the works (other things consuming my time), but in the meantime, check out my video for "Boogie Woogie Rhythm". It is a song I co-wrote with "Elton" Joe Duffy with some great Swing Dance video clips from 1940s movies. I'm looking forward to doing more with "Elton" Joe... It's been a long time, and if anyone deserves recognition for his talent, it's Joe.
oh how did you get your copy of the soundtrack from Joe vs. the volcano??? I would love to get my hands on one as well as I hear its quite rare...and im so glad you used it with this video... beautiful!! //*u*\\
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed my video. JVTV is one of my favorite movies, and soundtracks. Varese Sarabande released 3000 copies of the soundtrack back in 2004, and I was lucky enough to get one. As I write this (8/31/08), there is a copy of the soundtrack for sale on eBay with about 10 hours to go on the auction.
I am currently working on a digital re-edit of a "Top Gun" video I did on VHS back in the '90s and hope to have it up in Sept.
I spent some time looking for 'Marooned Without You' on the net and found your video. This is such a wonderful hapy song that I'm surprised it was never released as a single song. In any event, you video is better. The water ballet is marvellous and I thank you for giving me access to what is a very special song.
Thank you for the compliment! I'm glad I was able to brighten your day with my video of The Oceanarium's "fish tank ballet", and "Marooned Without You", the end theme from "Joe Versus The Volcano". If you ever visit Hawaii, make sure you go to Oahu and stop by the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki to check out the Oceanarium Restaurant's "fish tank", during feeding time. It's awesome! I've only been there twice, but I feel that I could LIVE on Oahu... If I can ever get myself out of New York.
