Why would you recommend XP to anybody? It's a fossil now, it's unsupported and full of security holes. Vista and 7 both offer compatibility features so every program you use would run perfectly as if they were on XP.

Vista was better than XP, few people understand that because the rest of the world said it sucked.

Otherwise, he's using CamStudio.
