If your using an ION SET then yes - if you use the original GHWT drum set then no.

They Blow Away the ION CYMBALS - The Ion Cymbals are like toys - same quality as the original RB 1 Drumset I'd Say - Pintechs are top notch and way more quiet than the originals.
