Ah, to be a teenager again, going to Gino's on Friday night to learn the latest steps so we could rip the floor at the Copa the following day. Alec R. Costandinos was pure music genius. This is definitely his best of many great disco songs.
Those were the days. Boy, they don't make music like that anymore. DEJAVU!! What great memories. So glad to have been part of it. Thank you for posting.
Thank you so much for posting this. I actually read Romeo & Juliet in my HS class, but this incredible musical version of it was more moving. I was 16 years old when I danced to it and I still love it at age 51.
the biggest emotions that always gave discomusic in that tiimes it is the reason bcos we are so tied to all these musics and now when we listen these songs we feel the same emotions! this is fantastic.............
OMG! Thank you for posting this. I can't tell you how much I played this record as a child. I was devastated when I lent it to a friend and he lost it.
I was a 14 year old kid living in Cochabamba - Bolivia when I first heard this song. My dad bought this cassette from one of his trips to the USA. I remember the impact it had on me and my friends, we would dance and dance, it was and still is a great disco song. Ohhhh.... those were the times !
I'm 46 now and when I used to dance to this song I was 13. You had to be 14 to get into this dance club, but we didn't have to have any formal ID to get in at the time. Man, this song was the most requested song at the place called Discotrek south of Minneapolis. Wow, this brings me back. THANK YOU!!!!
This song rocks it reminds me cruising down 86 street, Brooklyn, NY. Man those were the days, in my 1979 Bonneville Brougham with plush red velvet seats . Loved it..........
que tiempos tan bellos ojala se pudiera retroceder el tiempo para recordar una de las mejores epocas de mi vida bella cancion eso si era musica gracias
Mr305Bizzy has her own account. Give me a hand it took me awhile, technology kills me. Not really I'm not that stupid Enjoy this song as many times as I do
The best record ever made, I never get tired of hearing it. I have the Cd paid $60.00 for it and would have paid any price for it. I had the record when it came out left home years later and guess my mom threw it out, years passed and one day I heard it on the radio in the 90's. I spent years searching for it till I finally got one. I guard it with my life. Im not Mr305 Im his mom i'm 46 and our music will always live on
This song is the ultimate ! What memories it brings back. It reminds me of growing up in Brooklyn and hanging with my friends, going to Disco's and just having a great time!

You should have been in France in 1977.
This and Cerrone's recordings were from there.
Both Alec (originally Alex) and CERRONE are from
France and worked together....you will like Cerrone's
percussiom work,
Disco and France in those days where like wine and cheese.
Great memories.....
