If Charles Pierce had tried making nature documentaries, seems like he might have been more successful. His intro is pretty good, until it turns out to be a setup for a dramatic movie.

@WorthlessProle you're not missing anything, i prefer mike as the host, it's funny but they really didn't get the riffing technique down until a bit halfway through the entire series. don't get me wrong, joel as host was still funny but the riffing was in spurts and so was the laughter. could also be the movies being riffed as well or it could be because i discovered this in 1995 when i was 10 and found robots watching a movie totally hilarious and didn't get into it 'til mike became host. idk.

@WorthlessProle you're not missing anything, i prefer mike as the host, it's funny but they really didn't get the riffing technique down until a bit halfway through the entire series. don't get me wrong, joel as host was still funny but the riffing was in spurts and so was the laughter. could also be the movies being riffed as well or it could be because i discovered this in 1995 when i was 10 and found robots watching a movie totally hilarious and didn't get into it 'til mike became host. idk.
