You can not stop global warming by allowing Mikhail Gorbachev and George Soros to seize wealth, stuff their own pockets, then use that wealth to buy up ever more globalist control of the world.

drkstrong suggest that wealth be seized from the "wealthier" nations and redistributed to the poor nations. Sure, the poor nations will vote for this.
But how does that stop global warming, when the poor nations are developing as well?
If the argument is to hold, ALL nations must have a moratorium, right now, on building anything new. THAT would be fair, across the board, so that punishment is not inflicted on some countries while others are allowed to build up their pollution output.

@401RoadWarrior He is saying that anything we do as far as climate policy will have economic impacts. As the wealthy countries have gotten us into this situation by using the atmosphere as a dumping ground and that is actually what made them wealthy. It is the 3rd world countries that will suffer the worst - the wealthy countries have to pay for the clean up. A defacto xfer of wealth.
It is logical and only fair.
