Dude, what are you hearing? I'm an Archuleta fan, but I absolutely loved this performance! I thought (like Randy said) that he sung his heart out on this song, and he did really well with it.
I'm not saying that David Archuleta can't sing- 'cause he can (quite well, in fact)-but David Cook is just better, in my humble opinion. He's much more versatile and his genre of music appeals to more people. David A's really good, too, I'd just be worried he'd faint having to perform an hour long concert! I'm not saying that David Archuleta can't sing- 'cause he can (quite well, in fact)-but David Cook is just better, in my humble opinion. He's much more versatile and his genre of music appeals to more people. David A's really good, too, I'd just be worried he'd faint having to perform an hour long concert! And I really couldn't picture myself buying his album- 15 tracks, all ballads. Just my opinion, everyone's etitled to have their say.

the judges pissed me off last night. cook was way better than the judges thought, they got caught up in archulettas fans cheering and prefered him. cook did better in the first round, tie in second, archie in third i think

I think that American Idol judges totally made the "hands down" decision for David Archuleta to win Idol. AND HE DESERVES IT! He WAS the better singer last night. However, they are calling for David Cook to win tonight in a SHOCKER move to boost ratings for the ailing American Idol show. Using Archuleta in this way is ashame. He CLEARLY should be the next American Idol!!!
