That computer is also the last one apple produced with a crt. So there 4 it is heavy, but it was mostly sold for ed. purposes like I said so its more affordable than the next lighter computer apple was producing.
I like those computers. They were mostly sold for education purposes, my school had them until we got new computers this year... They might have some saving/software problems but theyre still cool...
@clubcar98 Yeah I know, I have the case off and it is just sitting on my living room floor. There is a trick that you can take off the button and hold the two wires together for about a minute or two and it will power on.
@uxwbill I really have no idea. But it is on the slow side, just opening Final Cut Pro sometimes locks it up, and that is only when the "Register Now" screen pops up.

I have a 700MHz eMac G4, and it is shit because the power button is broken.
IBMThinkPadR51 8 months ago
@IBMThinkPadR51 Funny, because my eMac recently seems to have a power button that is sticking out more than it should be.
If I remember right, the power button breaking is common, and if you open up the case you can see the button design is kinda strange.

It really ought to run faster than that...I'd wonder if it got up on the wrong side of the bed or (more seriously) if it has a marginal hard drive.
