  • Check out "Dancing With Witch Doctors" by Kelly James, for another look at these people. Also the current, Omo, Turkana, news on this internet. Brief looks can be deceiving. These people live horrendous lives of gross superstion, female mutilation, fearful ignorance, and lack of respect for human life. They live by blood feud, raiding one another, and starvation. Their only hope for a decent future lies in tourism, and from what I understand, they resent that enormously.

  • In my place, some of the so called educated professors doing all sorts of discrimination based on the caste and religion; by having plenty of salary, used to go for money begging like a dog. It's better to send them on deputation basis to these people to make them to learn simplicity, reality, humanity, affection and friendly attitudes.

  • who let the air out of her boobs

  • I just wonder, you guys CAN live like that. Why don't you actually try to?

  • these vids are too short. are there full episodes posted?

  • Lovely lady!

  • wonder if he ever gets head.

  • saggy tits

  • that man works hard

  • I would give that old granny a D&G bra, lol

  • I can tell... he wanst to bone her silly

  • "*Contains brief moments of nudity" more like 2 minutes of old saggy titty

  • nice boobs

  • The people of Ethiopia have been suffering so much because of current government and the west. The Meles government doesnt care for its own people. The west thinks the Meles regime powerful enough to control the terrorist activity and maintain the needs of the west in the horn of Africa. The West has kept silent even though there is a clear evidence of human right violation in Ethiopia

  • stop buying clothes and start running butt naked

  • @winstomp. It's called maturity and respect

  • lol imagine how weird it would be to talk to a girl and try not to look at her tits like this guy needs a medal

  • I would much rather deal with the difficulties of civilized life than those of tribal life. I just could not not live with all that dirt, flies and disease and things like that.

  • That just showes how far some of us have strained from our primal roots.

  • It'd be nice to have some sort of compromise.

For example it's hard to quantify how much we rely on pharmaceuticals to keep us healthy and how much they rely on our weakness and paranoia.

Dirt isn't a problem unless you make it one.

Flies ...yea, you got me there! Still no point hiding from life - might as well take the rough with the smooth in pursuit of an active and happy life.

  • You know I think you do have point. We can't hide from nature totally can we?

    My best regards to ya.

  • they where born with that, they know nothing but that life style.

  • yea scientist show u the good side of tribal life in ethiopia they dunt show u genocide no reasons killing ...

  • tribal life is just like our lives just we work to live while they are more active

  • It was probably itchy...

  • Yes, Bruce is really down to earth. One could tell that by merely watching his videos. Aside from that, I could say that he's very open minded and yes, i agree again with one of the comments, he is really intelligent. and that comes with great character..hope to see more of these kinds of videos but hopefully, in full length..

i couldn't sleep so i went online and i feel really good to have come across these videos!!

  • clash of civilizations- but in a peaceful way!

  • Interesting analyze...

  • you know what jerryaltman? I think you are right. that is true now that i think about it.

  • Inspiring. Wonderful people.

  • I love this guy Bruce! He travels all over parts of the world and experiment things that most of us can only see on the discover channel. Very intelligent and down to earth type of guy. Bruce! I respect you at the bottom of my heart. Good luck mate and many more journeys up ahead. May god bless and protect you everywhere you goes. It seems like every cultures or tribes that you've touched, they all love you mate.

  • OMG I'm gonna cry its so cute.

  • Fuckkkkk he stayed for 3 whole months! That is amazingly brave.

  • These videos really make me feel like living in the wild, america seems great to others, but when you really come here, you see the hate. these people are so friendly and carefree and have so much love for eachother. they dont worry about money, racism, fighting, violence, or class. They just live how humans are supposed to live; for survival and for eachother. long live africa

  • @UndefinedButterfly to be honest with you, america dont seem so great to us :D we understand that all the great music and hollywood movies you have made the last 70 years dont represent the normal everyday americans... i love blues and rock and roll, god bless you americans for creating some of the best songs in the (western) world but that's it.. you have so much troubles in your society and everything it's just... it's not where we would really want to live tough we all want to travel there.

  • Most of African tribes are just like that.Friendly.Just leave them as there are and do not try to offend them or "CIVILIZE THEM" Truast me they are find like that. You want to civilize some one ? go try that in the usa ghetos of rival gand members.

    Peace africa

  • I don't understand every word you say but I greatly dislike gangbangers as well.

  • I don't believe that this is an attempt to civilize the African tribes, it's merely showing the general populous the unknown. So many people are fascinated by the mysterious cultures of our world. And note that at the end of his segments Bruce states that he wishes they tribes could stay the same in the very changing world. He only wishes them well as does everyone else who is watching.

  • they are so carefree.sometimes i am thinking to leave this country (US)..it's too stressful here..u always think about your bills, house payment, car insurance, health insurance..you have to work everyday to survive..in the wilderness you don't have to worry as long as you have food around you..you plant plants, hunt animals or domesticate..there you are carefree.that's why people here in america are stressed and that's why they aren't happy..i wanna go back to the forest and spend my life there

  • ya i agree.. no need to thing world thing at city. if hungry u go fishing. hahaha.

  • "We have to learn hospitality" you said

    I couldn't agree more.

  • i was in ethiopia in october and i was life changing...so amazing

  • why did you go there and what did you do?

  • we went there with canadian humanitarian. just google them and you'll find them. we did humanitarian work which means we went to and worked in schools doing medicals, went to training centers, remote villages and ophanages. we also worked at/ visited programs run by canadain humanitarin called kids hope centers they were pretty much somewhere for the kids to go after school for help with school work and for 1 hot meal a day. this is a life line for some kids and thier familys check them out!

  • Being in Ethiopia in Jan this year and I could only have hoped to do a fraction of what Bruce did.

Cant wait to travel in your footsteps and experience the real world before we all lose our traditions.

  • loved this series

  • Bruce is my idol

  • nice series

  • I didn't like Bruce in the first clip I saw, but I think he learned a lot through his journey and by this time, well, I really appreciate him. Great job, beautiful people.

Wish the world wasn't moving so fast.

  • you are amazing and i love your documentarys i see them all or try to :) She was a fab lady and treated you as her son, great people, big soul's.People like me love people like you.

  • Parry attended Wells Cathedral School as a boarder between 1978 and 1987. After finishing at Wells, Parry was commissioned as a Royal Marines officer at the age of 18. Soon after training, he became their youngest ever physical training and sports officer and his five year career culminated in the prestigious appointment as the officer in charge of all physical aspects of British Commando training.

  • I also like his precious and very wonderful reports. What can I tell him? Luo Secret... Elsewhere, there are trees that the Luo cannot be separated from because they remain green even during the worst draughts. Perhaps the Omo could plant them too. They are called OJUOK, BONDO and TUORO as well as KUDHO and plants such as OGAKA. Wherever a Luo is you will find these trees! Okoch (Okoth) the Hunter should tell his people to plant them because they resist even the worst of draughts.

  • that dude, clearly looks out of habitat

  • Bruce Parry (born March 17, 1969) is a former British Royal Marine instructor who presents the documentary program Tribe
