they are making a reference to an SNL skit where Blue Oyster Cult (the guys who played the song as Tommy and gang were abducted) were playing Don't Fear the Reaper (the same song) and Will Ferrel kept making the band mess up due to his beat with the cowbell.

and well yeah the specs are pretty high currently. but its not an overkill as Encoding + Playing + recording simultanously takes up a hella lot of processing resources. My Hard disk is being choked by the amount of data being written and read from it at the same time lol.
It looks much better without youtube's compression lol.

I think they should stay, at least I can read them. But which game do you prefer Quake 4 or Prey? I think Prey looks pretty cool.
