  • Pat was not miscast he was perfectly cast. He was supposed to play the square hayseed who comes to the big city and goes ga-ga over sexy Ann Margaret,

    Didn't most hetero, men feel the same. Pat is believable because he is just playing the way he was cast in most of his films in the 60s.

  • Very religious and very faithful to his wife, Boone didn't have an affair with the gorgeous Ann-Margret! The same thing cannot be said with Elvis, when he came along the following year! (VIVA LAS VEGAS!)
