  • RAM was a good album, nice mix of tunes. Linda does quite well considering she didnt really want to sing or perform but it was a nice touch to involve his wife and once again she makes a good job of it.

  • While Eating A Home is a very interesting prospect, I don't believe McCartney had any intentions of chowing down on any cottages anytime soon. Unless he wanted cottage pie. I do like a nice Cottage Pie...

  • I listened to this song again today with great pleasure!

  • I think Linda had a great voice :) I have a song by her on my ipod

She has a really unique voice- like you can tell who it is

It fits with Pauls singing and music I think- But maybe thats just the magic of love ;)

  • Its about eating Chicken Wings in bed...

Paul McCartney and wings eat at home ..lets eat in bed.

  • It's not just Paul, let's give Linda a little respect here.

  • @lennonmacca64 at least linda actually sings unlike yoko ono wailing all the time linda wasnt a bad singer if you ask me

  • @scotty87able I agree, I liked Linda, her voice was just good enough for their music.

  • I love Ram so much.

  • In his defense it does have the wings drummer Denny Seiwell on it before there was a wings. But not Wings. sorry. Also has Hugh Mccracken on guitar. Hugh later played with John Lennon.

  • he did this before Wings it is credited to paul and linda but it is his second solo album

  • Hon, you really need to change up your descriptions and song titles. Remove all the stuff about Wings. Anyway, still great downloads, thanks!

  • John Lennon's favorite track from Ram

  • @dobrautero how do you know?

  • This is not Wings.

It's just McCartney and his wife.

  • test

  • no one likes the wings, ppl love mccartney

  • @SirBrianCabrera So not true, Millions of fans love Wings! I'm one.

  • Killer guitar melody and drumming! Paul was, and still is, a master. :-)

  • Yup...you're right!

  • @henkhazet :-)

  • @Henkhazet

Like the "Let it be" single, it has Linda's voice in it yet still isn't Wings! "Ram" is a Paul and Linda McCartney album rather than a Wings album, as you can see in the credits on the disc that appears in the video at around 0:35

So next time you try to appear smart, get your facts straight :-)

  • Ummm No Wings uh?.... And the female voice isn't Linda?......Tsssss

  • It's Paul, Linda and some studio musicians from New York. Ram was recorded in NYC in the spring of 1971.

BTW, this is a very sexual song. Paul liked to use sexual innuendo in his songs; some examples include Penny Lane, Hi Hi Hi and Girls School. He was, and is, a "flaming heterosexual" and liked to work that into songs.

  • its from ram on (i think)

  • I lOVE EVRY THING he ever did(srry 4 the caps)~~and i cry when i think that the era is nearly gone ~~if it wasnt 4 RINGO STARRand his NEW album~~~

  • its not paul mccartney alone, neither. its paul & linda mccartney 1:00

  • This isn't Wings!

  • pretty good old rock. In that time paul was tryin to make rock in spite of all beatles legal dissolution that tune prove that paul can make xcellent tune and go on...

  • Ram indeed was one of the great underrated discs of all time. The photo of two beethes doin' the dirty. may have been paul's way of saying the other fabs were screwing hin

  • @handinside "Ram" is McCartney's best record.

  • It may not be credited to WIngs, but Paul didn't do all the instruments on Ram as he did on 'McCartney'... Wikipedia says " Denny Seiwell was recruited for drums, David Spinozza and Hugh McCracken were tapped for guitar duties, and Marvin Stamm was featured on flugel horn on Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey..." (and on Long Haired Lady I believe...)

  • Great song, should have been included on the Wingspan CD's. They left out a lot of great songs on that 2 CD set and put some on there that they shouldn't have IMO. Of course they do that with all greatsest hits/box set compilations.

  • One of my favorite. Thanks for posting.

  • it''s also about oral sex. Look it up. Great song.

  • great song

  • Fantastic song with fantastic drumming on it.

  • That has got to be the most Who-esque Macca solo song ever.

Of course I'll always say that "I've Got a Feeling" was the greatest song The Who never wrote.

  • Everyone credits all solo albums by Paul and Linda McCartney to the Wings for some reason.

  • que cancion tan hermosa, es una cancion universal me encanta desde niño

  • it's "Eat At Home" by Paul McCartney alone..no beatles no wings here

  • Actually it's credited to him and his wife, Linda mcCartney.

  • Ummm...No Wings uh? And the female voice isn't Linda?.....Tssssss

  • @randestuart I keep saying that on every song from the Ram album. They keep crediting them on Paul AND the Wings.

  • Eat At Home isn't Wings.

  • and it was the first Rock' Roll single in my life

  • As I heard this song the first time, I was 6. And I heard it, and I heard it, and I heard it. And I love it. Thank you, Paul

  • Is it really possible to "eat a home"? (look at the title).

Anyway, beautiful song, misspelled title or otherwise.

  • @karencarpenterfan I ate a gingerbread house once, true story.

  • Actually,BBUPLOADER,think that's "Eat AT

    Home"....LOL!!

    Great but lesser-known McCartney song!

  • Wild and beatuful! isn't it?

  • I think "Ram" holds up real well today. I mean this stuff is almost 40 years old. Just Paul and Linda, no other musicians. Pretty amazing. Still my favorite Paul album.

  • Good album. Not as good as the "McCartney" album, in which Paul played virtually all of the instruments for some songs that you have heard before, like "Maybe I'm Amazed."

  • melonshoe

I hate to dissapoint you but Paul and Linda did not do this album by themselvs. This was the birth of Wings. it.other musicians were

    Denny Seiwell

    Dave Spinoza

Hugh McCracken Nevertheless, this is my fav. McCartney Album of all time :)

  • I appreciate your response Maxedout. I am not talking about the Ram album but the Mcartney album. I wish I still had the original album cover so I could be sure lol.

  • melonshoe

Now that I look back I see where I confused your comment regarding Paul's first album and Ram. I also noticed that you are not a spring chicken. 1976 When I was in the army. I had the pleasure of attending the very first event held at the Seattle King Dome. It was Wings! I envy my sisters. They attended a Beatles concert.

  • i don't understand how people think this could of been a beatles song. it actually making fun of john and yoko.

  • Sooooooooooo cool

  • Sounds almost exactly like a White Album era song, and as good.

  • you know, you're right!

  • Thancks for this song WINGS.The SWEDE.
