  • What's the size of that socket, im going to buy one!!

  • what size is that?

  • Or.... spend $40 at Sears (or a Snap-On) dealer and get a set of lug nut removers that you can use time and time again instead of ruining sockets all the time. It's not rocket science.

  • to all the haters that think a thief will use this trick. . . think again . . tonite when it gets dark . . take any socket and beat the piss out of it. . . post a comment tomorrow if you haven't been shot or arrested. . that's a whole lot of bangin that you're gonna have the do . . good luck

  • what i did was used a strong cloth rag and a tight fitting socket. placed the rag over the lug then beat the socket onto the lug. then turn it with a ratchet or breaker bar(while putting pressure on the lug with my other hand) then when the lug is almost off, i bang the socket off of the lug. works every time.

  • @richie2nice thats a cool idea!

  • @emerciv I used a Acetlyne torch without cuting them to heat the, up then sprayed pb blaster on em

  • they sell these black sockets for the same thing

  • @wtl1964 Hmm why the socket have to be black huh lol.

  • @mixedbreed1282 haha idk but they work cause there made from harder metal thats way its black

  • If you use a craftsman socket you can take it to sears after you do this and they'll give you a new one for free. Just make sure you don't take it back with the lugnut still attached

  • do you mean get the wheel off..tyre. are you a lady ?

  • @bobbitt187 LOL

  • it would take you all day to steal mine, i got 8 lug and everyone of them are locking type

  • wash your hands!!!

  • nice vid. help me get the lock off my friend's g35x.

He had the key but it cracked the lock nut.

  • hahahah i love the commentary...."and then you...beat the shit out of it" hahah i favorited this video jus for that line

  • You just showed thieves what to do,smart, take this off.

  • @HairGirl28 Thieves wont go through the trouble of trying to do this, as it will attract way too much attention (the beating the shit out of it part) plus they dont want to waste losing up to 4 sockets

Also, I bought 4 lock sets :) So each rim has 4 keys and 1 normal lug nut. Goodluck taking off 16 keys lol (and if they can do it without people noticing... they deserve my wheels and my car! )

  • WTF who the hell has 4 or the same socket!!!!! unless you only want one rim

  • @Timboy4421052 exactly. i wrote the title in a hurry. You can buy sockets at sears etc. Its used in an emergency situation.

  • @Timboy4421052 wtf are u stupid i done this b4 u can use a long philips and hit it from the top to release the lug nut and use it in the rest of them

  • flag this bitch how to steal dum ass

  • @30097spartan lol i bet you couldn't steal a rim even after watching this video. Would you feel better if I changed the title to "remove" instead of "steal"?

  • @emerciv bitch i have hard lean money i don't need to steal fucken fag it

  • @emerciv Thanks a lot you fukkin thief! as if it's not enough of you fukkers out there already....

  • Strange title... "How to STEAL?" And how about to get SHOT for STEALING?

  • I used my craftsman Sockets and all it did was chew up the lock nuts! The socket is perfectly fine as well...

  • You do know that they make a tool to take locking lug-nuts off right? Most tire dealers have them. So if you need to get the other 3 off, and you don't feel like putting out the cash for the tool, take the car to your local tire dealer and ask if they can remove them for you. Then buy you next set of tires from the one that does it for free. Just because they were cool about it.

  • Do a google search for "RIMS" and then you'll stop calling wheels "RIMS"

  • @ejicon uhmm i did the google search annnnnnnnnnd... i saw alot of wheels... soo whats ur point asshole? lol

  • wow after watching how ez it is to get lock nuts off im bout to just take them off because they do strip to easly and can be a hassle

  • there's a company (may be UK based) called dynomec which do essentially this. They use an impact driver to remove wheel nuts without risk to damaging the wheel.

  • I think Pedro watched this video to steal my old cars rims.

  • @specops3866 wasn't pedro. it was me! haha jk buddy. no ones wheels are safe. there has to be a better idea out there for antitheft.

  • @drewmaloy there is and its already employed by our local govt's.... the boot. ;)

  • lmao. Very instructional video.

Hey, what is the brand/model of those wheels? My friend has them on her car and she's trying to figure it out.

    thanks!

  • @TreachourusJdogg 1000 momo

  • @Tj1056 well its the brand dont know the model... dont know the model of my 1000 momo on mine either :p

  • @TreachourusJdogg the are mille miglia 17". hope that helps!

  • They sell a special socket at auto-zone, sears and or tool trucks that will take lock nuts off. And you don't have to ruin a good socket.

  • I was wondering why you hadn't fixed your rotors yet :P

  • Thats exactly how i got the rims off my RX-7 . :)
