We're for small government and increased liberties. The American left is for bigger government as a matter of course.The bigger the government the smaller our liberties.

Alternative Strategy: Support Your Home Team. i.e., if you're a good-natured, ethical fellow, as most men are...only date women who are good-natured and ethical, and weed-out the rest. Help establish a higher 'market value ' for good character among women. You'll at least have formed the basis for a worthwhile friendship long-term, and can be of help to each other.
I've actually used a marriage proposal as a pick up before. I was quite intoxicated and went up to a female and said explaimed "LETS GET MARRIED!" It was funny enough that she laughed and said "No thanks" Then I apologized and said, "Sorry that was the beer talking..."
I only got away with it once. Probably only because she was an exceptionally nice female too.

Same holds for back then. If I created the perception that I am a general disagreer its because of my commenting style :)
I guess it feeds my ego more to point out where I disagree then to give praise :) So sometimes I come across as a critic.
I'm working on it though, and please continue the good work. Its appreciated even when we don't mention it.
