Our local Honda dealer is now trying to find replacement engines to replace many of the ones they locked up. Turns out not all of their "clunkers" were approved!!!

The Two lots I visited had not locked the engines unless they had the approval from Washington. There are alot of dealers jumping the gun and they will pay in the end.
Why are people junking good trucks. How about I raise my lawn service rates, because now if I need a engine I won't be able to find one for my F150, and will be forced to buy a new truck. Also whats up with that Volvo, I would of gladly paid $4500 for it without question, didn't even have a scratch on it. it also HAS TO have a combined mileage of less than 18 MPG. cavalier has 23 MPG combined, its not a "clunker" eligible car. i dont care if they bought a pruis, the cavalier still gets 23 combined mileage. someone's goin' get burned on it, and i say GOOD. i hope they loose their ass on it, the car isnt even legally a clunker. which the whole program sucks, this just makes it worse. even cars that get good mileage are being wasted
