Steamboy...(sigh)...I finally watched it. It has some nice visuals, but it's horrible, unfinished pile of nonsense. I am pretty sure that the movie had a huge potential, but that's pretty much the problem: this movie has never been finished. Final result doesn't make sense. Horrible storyline, shallow characters and twisted moral values (if there are any) ruined it all.

If you want nice animations, go ahead. But if you want a finished movie-skip it.

Saw this on AMVdotORG and it was VERY well done.

As someone who had never seem the show you managed to tell a short story well without following the preset story to much.

you choice of music was interesting too. you timed your cuts to merge seamlessly with your audio and all in all it was EXTREMELY catchy to boot.

and since i couldn't think of any criticism to go along with my assessment you defiantly deserve 5/5

I always say a sign of a good AMV is if I know nothing about the series and come out of the video wanting to watch it. I had never heard of Steamboy and I actively dislike steampunk as a genre, and yet I've watched this video three times now. Great job!

@TheHalomaster64 steam punk is the "what if" of science fiction, suck as say around the 1950's what if they had all the tech we had? what would it look like? how would it be powered?, steam punk referse to the use of steam and gears to power all the tech, such as seen in the amv

Love Steampunk and this song and video helped with writing a steampunk story I'm writing called Mary had steam. (title based off of Mary had a little lamp) Though its mix of fantasy and Steampunk. Hopefully it'll come out write, cause I'm writing it poetry like and its the first time I'm writing Steampunk.
