Hey bro, wicked pic's. I was there too with my GF but we didn't have tickets & were standing there watching through rips in the curtains outside Queens Wharf this guy came running out the emergency door puking so we ran in. Aaron the sound tech gave my GF passes for after the show, met some roadies & sold them green etc.. and ended up at the James Cook with Pantera at the bar up there FKN best time of my life bro. Phil flew us to Chch for their next concert.

Got VIP passes into the event, alcohol everywhere. My GF & I ended up staying with Phil & Jimmy (C.O.C) in Phil's hotel room at the (then) Park Royal until 6am, just the 4 of us hanging out was a fkn headtrip but honestly the best time of my life. I was throwing up in Phil's toilet while he rubbed my back saying 'get it all out Darling' (yes i'm female & bi) HAHAHA fkn classic moment I'll never forget. Chur bro :-)

To tell you the truth I don't know if it's luck or whatever but I started listening to Pantera when I was 13 and i still like them just as much at age 28. My wish was to meet pantera one day, specially Dimebag. I always thought of Dimebag as a crazy and funny guy from Pantera home videos and he was a rally nice guy. I had a game of pool with him and Pepper Kennan. One of the coolest nights I ever had. Awesome dudes, just genuine not fake at all like some of the musicians these days..

Yeah dude i started listening too pantera at like 12 or 13 and then it was too late to meet Dime. but till this day he is the biggest infuence to me as a guitarist. And thats all i think of him as crazy and funny from all the videos too... i just wish i had that chance but hey he left a whole legacy of pantera and damageplan.
