@robobbiebob yeah. i know exactly what you mean. The iPod is good because its just one payment of around $250. When the iPhone is min $100 plus around $65 monthly. But if you need a phone anyways like me. I choose to get an iPhone (because i needed a new phone anyways)and sell my iPod afterwards.

But if you dont "need" a new cell and say your already on a two year contract Just buy an iPod touch.

and hey you can always sell it later to get an iPhone :P

the 2G and 3G mean second generation and third generation. just meaning whats the newest one out there. the Iphone 3Gs is the newest one which is just updated so its faster and has a better camera in it.

Of course im going to say the Iphone is way better because its everything the Ipod is but with faster features and a phone of course :P

if your willing to pay the monthly cost of an Iphone its deffently worth it. if not then get an Ipod touch its just as nice.
