Just like toyota with lexus, honda with acura... hyundai could have had genesis label.

I've owned the Genesis for 1 month. I've ridden in BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus, Infinitis, Acuras, VWs, and Volvos. Admittedly the European cars have stiffer handling & more sporty performance feel so if you're looking for this, the Genesis is not for you. But for you critics who think the Genesis is not as smooth as Lexus, Infiniti, or Acura-you are delusional. Smoothness of ride & quietness of cabin are on par with the Japanese competitors. I dare you to take a blindfolded ride to prove my point

this car is a good deal. but it would be my second choice.the pontiac g8 gxp would eat this car up in any performance catagory and looks better on the exterior.and i see gxps for 35 grand.they want damn near 50 grand for the geneses.others to consider four taurus and dodge charger srt8

@KiLLjap91 What are you talking about? You can't even get a $50k Genesis. The price ranges $33k-$43k US. For that top price, you're getting a very well equipped, full-size, V8 powered, RWD luxury car. I drove a 3.8 version and can tell you it's worth every penny compared to other luxury cars for the same money, which are all MUCH smaller, like BMW 3-series, Infiniti G37, Lexus ES, etc. Pontiac G8 is certainly a drool-worthy car, but it's a...eh, Pontiac.

for true car reviews i would go to consumer reports' website cux they actually buy their test cars (not given to them by manufactor), so the review is more truthful if you will. however, JD powers have more accurate reliability rating since they ask all the owners not just the ones subscibe to them

Why is the Genesis valuable?

Why does Hyundai claim the only other car to have Lexicon like the Genesis is a Rolls Royce even though they are completely seperate components and are no where being close to comparable. Which makes it not worth bringing up.

Why can't Hyundai offer a passenger ventilated seat in the Genesis like everyone else?

Why get this car when others offer more for less money?

The Genesis is an incredible sedan. It has changed so many people's perception of what Hyundai can do. The car has a commanding presence on the road, everytime I see one zoom pass by me. The only down side is the brand "perception" that most people have. It's not the 1980's anymore folks, welcome to the 21st century. Expect more good things from Hyundai down the future.
