Actually one of the reasons i love Brian is because he reminds me so much of Alexei and i have always always loved Yagudin. He was a beautiful skater and he had the perfect Olympic Season Long Program in 2002 TMITIM!!.

Jourbert is NO Yagudin. Fancy you can't see that there are so many differences between the two. Such a bitter, pathetic person. So sad, there are no proper Russian successors of Yag and Plash in sight. But, this should not be the reason why you are so twisted and bitter.

For sure, a very talented athlete. Brian could bring a lot to figure skating - but instead he decided to become Yagudin's clone. They have similar body types, so Alexey's style suits Brian, but once Brian quits he'll be forgotten soon for not contributing much to the sport. I think Joubert is more talented than Yagudin, but this talent has been largely wasted on copying another athlete.

When a lot of people didn't believe in Brian after his unsuccessful Olympic Games in Torino, he showed he is a great skater in his short and free programme during the World Championships in Calgary.

It was beautiful: a big come back of 'Matrix' and Brian's words: 'It was magic!'

also i believe joubert should work more in his artistry, this was a great performance, and his movements went along with the music but most of his performances r not this artistic, but his jumps... OMG, he's such an incredible athlete, he got amazing hight even for doubles, all his jumps r super high, if he works towards getting this artistry in all his performances, im sure he will be unbeatable...

I agree. Joubert has everything in him except artistry. His moves are ridiculously good, probably the best. But comparing to Stephane, his performance lacks of artistry.

this was definitely not boring, even while joubert isnt my favorite, its obvious that this was a great performance... u know, something that i didnt like about him was what he said about plushenko for the europeans 2006, that plushenko did wanted to skate... why wouldnt he want to skate?... was joubert saying that plushenko was scared?... i mean, come on!! quad-triple-triple in cometition and quad LUTZ in practice, plushenko is NOT ur average skater...
