There were no Muslim or Cripto-Muslim population left from early 17th century onwards. The Muslims living now in Spain belong to a recent wave of migrants from Morocco, started in the 90's. Even the Muslims living in Ceuta and Melilla got their Spanish citizenship in 1986, not before.
