Off the top of my head I know they also covered the Bad Religion song "we're only gonna die" but they called it "we're only gonna die of our own arrogance" like the faction did so they might have covered their rendition of it.

Jack Johnson is awesome, he's never done anything to warrant anybody hatin on him. These are two great songs that he's covering. And he's covering them so he can put his own spin on them whats the point of playing it if you dont put your own spin on the song? Sublime is one of the greatest bands of all time. Its a tribute to them that he is playing their beautiful music.

actually, (and im a HUGE Sublime fan, so please dont think im bashing them) a great deal of Sublimes material came from them sampling other artists.
theres an amazing Sublime bootleg called Rewind Selector in which someone blended together Sublime's version and the original version. the original Rewind Selector had 50 songs, but someone came along and added around 50 more.
