Cause my mama was a big Elvis fan and he was her crush as a teen. She was born in '46. She's 65 now and she's the one that turned me onto Elvis. I'm sure she didn't cry on anything; she wasn't squirley about it. She said she was shocked and sad about Elvis dying. When I was a kid we could sit in the front seat and wear no seat belts and there wasn't any airbags either. Times have changed that's for sure in a good way. Daddy did get into buckling up when I was a kid before it was law. Smart!

I was almost 10 when he died and I have a recollection of it as a kid. I was with my neighbor and his daughter in the car and they were playing Beatles music and mentioning he died and then I had no clue who he was cause my parents weren't big Beatle fans.
