Everybody get grand theft auto chinatown wars. It is seriously the best iPhone game EVER. It has so much replay value that I didn't even do the missions for a long time, I just played around with it. The driving controls are awesome and the map is ENORMOUS.

Buy it, its incredibly fun.

@YOTTR Hey, I hope you know the PS Vita has a Touch Screen AND a Touch Pad. The real reason iPhone can't become a console is because of lazy developers as a lot of them can't make decent graphics or make a good control scheme. Besides Good dev. make great games, you don't need physical buttons.

This is THE best strategy games out there for iPhone/iPod. I could play it for hours, and it beats GTA Chinatown Wars by miles with its 3D environment and superior graphics! :D

@AppSpy Am i the only one HUGELY dissapointed with modern combat 2? Coming from a skillful xbox 360 FPS player this game was a huge dissapointment for me (Yes i know it's only a phone) But what dissapoints me most in multiplayer is how enemies spawn in front, behind and to the side of you VERY regularly, alot of times allready there to kill you as you spawn...

@MrGoldenWriter As a skilled PC FPS player, I've long come to terms that any FPS not on the PC will always be disappointing to me :) In all fairness, the spawning is only an issue if you stand around in an enemies spawning area and it's more of a stylistic choice for the multiplayer that can add a lot of fun/challenge (those who have played Battlefield games - especially back in the Codename Eagle days - will know what I'm talking about). It may not be for everyone; but it still works :)

guys can i say one thing This isnt gta it a clone for the iphone same with modern combat 2 its mw2 for iphone now if your expecting consle qaulity your almost there but its not gonna have psp graphics the iphone offers good qaulity games for low prices stop expecting a 60 dollar qaulity game the iphone offer a 10 dollar game that has qaulity of a early ps2 game gosh if you dont like ipad/iphone/ipodtouch then why are you even watching this. iphone for portabl gaming ps3 or pc for home gaming.

@slannmage Be careful how easily you throw around the word 'clone'. Without 'clones' we wouldn't have such success in the FPS genre; without 'clones' we wouldn't have companies like Blizzard existing; without 'clones' people would have no choice or variety. Miami Vindication has a different storyline to Vice City; a different time period; different weapons and combat system; NEW locations; etc. They're sandbox titles located in Miami - end of comparison.

@AppSpy Uh, this game is most certainly an attempt at taking all the GTA glory and putting it on iPhone, and doing a pretty lousy job I might add. I can't accept this game until it gets decent draw distance, car models, character models, a good map, and less pop in. I'm sticking with Vice City Stories for PSP or Chinatown Wars, because they're both worlds better, graphically, and content wise.

@ATLMember I forgot to mention the car variety. There just in no atmosphere in this game, it just doesn't come anywhere close to the wonderful world of San Andreas or Vice City (yes I know San Andreas isn't on a mobile yet). I really had high hopes for Miami Vindication, but in reality, it's still Gangstar.

I'm not to found of the action on a Ipod Touch 3g Nore 2g. Mainly because it sometimes freezes in the middle of the game or when your exiting using thu home button it sometimes freezes your home screen so.

If they would fix that ti would be the perfect GTA Replica game. The vehicles are so much better then the original Gangstar. More weapons were added especially the flamethrower.

Also you can even fly a helicopter anytime you want when you go up into a building.

Game is pretty much awesome. My only gripes are mild framerate drops, a few graphical glitches and slightly jittery vehicle animations. These don't hurt my overall score though. 5/5 :)

@AppSpy Great answer! I had my Psp Go for a couple of months before realizing it had nothing to offer, and sold it. Now, I couldnt be happier with my iPhone 4. Sony is going to bring their smartphone by next year´s end probably, and its going to be too late. They lost their place with their stupid decisions and bad management. Now its time for Apple to rule the portable gaming (Ok, Nintendo too)

@Alejop1995 To me, the PSP's graphics originally were better than the iPhone/iPod Touch, except with the retina display, and new processor for both devices. Like the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4, from what I have seen, and owned, currently they surpass the PSP. Plus Epic Citadel is a tech demo for an MMORPG they are making from a new graphics engine. Unreal Engine 3. Similar to this game called Rage that's coming to every single console. Only thing in my book where the PSP wins is it's controls.

@ATLMember Yes they do, however I might point out at this juncture that 'good' looks don't equate to 'good' games. So the argument shouldn't be about what the PSP and iPhone can or can't do, but about how good their game catalog is - and while you're at it, just how strongly developers are supporting each device. While the PSP has more true AAA titles, the iPhone is starting to bring titles of this quality out more often AND they cost less. The PSPs only ace in the hole is its physical controls.

@AppSpy Uh, the PSPs ace in the hole is that it's taken seriously as a game console, and has REAL devs (not gameloft) who make the great games instead of ripping them off. I love the App store pricing and my iPhone, but the games are rarely good quality. iPhone is a wonderful piece of hardware, now it just needs some strong developers to make the great games it deserves.

@AppSpy I guess it depends on what you're looking for. The iPhone doesn't have a whole lot of deep, lengthy games, but offers a great casual experience. The PSP has many deep, engaging games, but isn't too casual. I have to say though that I've recently been hooked on Silent Hill Shattered Memories on my PSP. I agree though that it's an odd comment. They weren't designed to be compared. haha

P.S. I do not hate the iPhone.Hate Marcus. PSP is still superior in terms of gameplay and graphics but actually Real Racing is one of my most favored portable racing experience in recent memory . Epic Citadel is a tech demo and limited to certain models,Enjoy buying a new iPhone every 6 months.

Not to be nit picky but I couldn't tell if the graphics looked great on retina display by video. It's high resolution played back on video doesn't reflect. Maybe just a "looks amazing, or doesn't make the most of retina display" would be good.

Fun!! The graphics are just ok on my iPad but thank goodness, an iPad version is due next month. The gameplay is pretty darn cool, easy to drive, love the motorbikes and tapping on targets to target. Good times!

@Pizza2225 Hmm, Chinatown Wars is somewhat larger, though it can get away with this given its style (overhead with minimalistic 3D). While both have the basic GTA feel, Chinatown Wars has a lot more in the way of side-missions so I'd consider it better value for money if I was pressed on the issue. Then again, you don't get the same sort of action you get in Miami Vindication, so it really depends on what you consider important - the action or the side-missions.
