Btw geting materials on the slot reel gives more points at the end, if all materials are removed you get atleast 10k BP and the Highest point order is: All > Yellow > Pink > Blue > Red > Green > Mini > Toad > Poison > Speed > Sword > Armor > Accessory > Item > HP > MP > HP/MP > Zero MP > 10L > 5L > Time 30x Damage > Cure > Lucky 7 ;) Cheers

A good way to get the UFO is to tap the "fire" button rappidly rather than hold it down so it stays as close to full power as possible - also one of the spotlights at the end of the ride is a target too (I can't remember which one, but I *THINK* it's on the left).

he missed all the big things to shoot at like the yellow boulder 200 points the red wheel on the boat for up to 285 points and the secret lightthingy for 200 points and to kill the big ufo u need to shoot short rapid controlled bursts of laser and never let it go under the green on the powermeter when u cant see the big ufo u can recharge to shoot at it when it appears again

The absolute only way I have *ever* got over 5000 points in that Speed Square game is on an emulator with the frame rate butchered to 10-FPS. That game is ridiculous. The cursor moves far too slowly.

Anyway yeah. Whilst you're taking advantage of using an emulator, the easiest way of racking up GP is simply to play the basketball game. And save before every throw.

It's cheating, but what the hey lol ^^

Also, I've never been able to beat Battle Square. EVERY SINGLE TIME a Tonberry comes out at round 8, and even with Knights of the Round Table, I can never beat one. I can beat MASTER Tonberries, just not the regular ones.

HC, did you know that in the Speed Square, you can aim your laser at the very top-left of the area and HOLD IT DOWN while the spotlights are there to get 200 points?

Yeah, a turbo controller really helps in the Speed Square. I was never too good at it, but when I used my friends controller, it became a lot easier! Nice job in the Battle Square. I've always liked those battles. More so than the Coliseum in FFVI, because at least here you can control your character.

You can but it is incredibly difficult without a turbo controller. With turbo controllers you can destroy it. It gives you 1000 points if I remember correctly

That good old trick to stop the wheels in the battle square, certainly came in handy when I learnt about it. I'm not sure, but maybe that also works for Tifa's limit breaks, if anybody has trouble with that.

I've always been bad at the Speed Square game too, but I think part of the reason is because the crosshair only moves at a certain speed. Same reason I don't play First-Person Shooters on consoles. Would be lots easier controlling with a mouse.

I don't exactly remember where it is in the speed square, but there is a propeller on a submarine that appears in the top right corner that if you shoot it will give you over 340,000 points; so much that the score will glitch out. You only have a short amount of time to shoot it, and it takes a lot of hits. But if you get it, you'll be set for all the items you'll want to win.

in the speed round, you can also shoot the center of the ferris wheel to get some bonus points (the lnger you shoot, the more points flow in, in contrary to all the other instan-score targets)

UFO gives you 1000 extra points if you destroy it. After the last three enemies after the UFO if you constantly aim at the top left corner of the screen you'll also destroy a light which gives 200 points so long as you have a bit of power. And to easily do that mini game you need a turbo controller. You turbo the circle button and you can send out a pretty much infinite fully powered stream of the gun thing. Useful. It's the only way i managed to get above 3000 points. Got me above 5000
