Gaddafi's army is using artillery that can hit targets 20 miles away and blast everything within 100 feet.
The rebels are using weapons meant for close-quarters fighting. Worse, they've had no time to train for the fight. The IRA and the Haganah trained for years before their respective wars of independence.
