  • Very cool vid, thanks for sharing..... also f.y.i. neuralengin33r.... the ocean is highly corrosive, which is the main reason ocean going boat owners haul out once a year to re-bottom their boats. Have u ever seen images of the titanic? its disolving.... now replace the 1/2" steel with paper thin aluminum and tin..... yeah.... the cans will dissolve in no time. Also can u change your name because you r making other engineers look dumb.

  • I've watched these videos several times. You guys are great. It's my little vacation from work at work.

  • how big was the boat?

  • Aluminum and tin cans will just sink...not dissolve. Love the rest!

  • one question.

is it that ok, to use ocean water as a fuel of sailboat?

  • @Zineter50 they didn't use the water as fuel they took the salt out and used it as drinking water so they don't run out

  • @59945601

    oh i see.

  • yea i wonder what one of theose reverse ozmoses thingies costs! im definatly gonna have to get my grubby paws on one

  • Good video but its called a spinnaker guys!!! And you REALLY need one. Best to carry 2-3 as you tend to blow them out over 1-2 years crusing.

  • your breakfast sucks.

  • i would need more proof of an alum. can decomposing in "couple days" no doubt salt water is corrosive that's not my argument.. my argument is the claim that it decomposes fast enough not to be considered litter, apple core , coffee grounds , left overs paper, of course that's fine..but alum and tin cans?

  • maybe more than a couple of days but it does not take long

  • You obviously have never seen what salt water does to things.

  • very good ideed

  • Hi lads, what an insiration you all are... true adventurers.. My uncle has always been a massive sailor...the stories that he has told me are fantastic... he has been to so many places. One day perhaps ?.. all the best to you all.
