I'm not saying Landry is bad he isn't, he's amazing, but from what I've seen Farmer looks more ready for the next level and the pro analysts agree. Yes Farmer is about 30lbs heavier and a good 3-4 inches taller than Landry. He plays more physical and gets off the line more easily because of his size. Landry's physicality is impressive for his size, but compared to Farmer who's much bigger, he still isn't as imposing and likely won't be able to dominate college DBs, as easily as he does now at the high school level. Farmer also being one of the top sprinters in the country, has the elite speed Landry lacks.
Landry is probably the better route runner of the two and slightly more consistent catching the ball, but Farmer's physical tools and ability to overwhelm defenders make him the better prospect. As far as the excuse that California players get more recognition, it is a pretty poor one. ESPNU released their top 150 rankings this summer and CA only has 12 players on it, by comparison a southern state like FL has 40 and Georgia has 19 players listed and both have much smaller populations.

What I see in this video is that Landry does not always seek out the sideline like many at the high school level.
The other thing I like about him is his level of physical dexterity. He does not leave his feet easily, & has ridiculous sense of balance for a kid of his size. His coordination for his age is unheard of. He catches the ball at its highest point, he catches with his hands, & his timing is good, as well.
I'm also impressed with his downfield blocking (important at the next level).
Landry is sick, but most of these highlights are single coverage, and not triple teamed like you stated. The kid will look good in Purple and Gold at LSU though just like he does in these videos.

What I see in this video is that Landry does not always seek out the sideline like many at the high school level.
The other thing I like about him is his level of physical dexterity. He does not leave his feet easily, & has ridiculous sense of balance for a kid of his size. His coordination for his age is unheard of. He catches the ball at its highest point, he catches with his hands, & his timing is good, as well.
I'm also impressed with his downfield blocking (important at the next level).

Landry is sick, but most of these highlights are single coverage, and not triple teamed like you stated. The kid will look good in Purple and Gold at LSU though just like he does in these videos.

true, there were some games he was held under 50 yards due to that type coverage, but other teams played honest and got burnt
