I always liked the L28 that engine was way ahead of it's time! My first Z was a 1978 280z with the multi-port fuel injection. It had tons of power with the 5-speed but I hated the boxy bumpers.

@moderns30 Umm, he was spinning both tires genius! If he was spinning only one it wouldn't have even spun around to do a donut or left 2 black marks on the pavement when exiting the donut!

@AdrenalineJunky17 My 240z has an LSD, it get sideways way easier, see how this car was struggling. I've owned 240sx's with open diffs that would leave two black marks in the right occasion. If he has an LSD, it isn't a very good one.

i love these engines. i blew an oil cooler line off one night, ran out of oil. put oil back in. the motor is perfectly fine. cooland got too hott, fan didnt turn on, cap from reservoir poped up spraying boiling water every where, let it cool, added more. never warped.

L series are mean.
