There are not many paces she can go from where she is, unless she completely re-invents herself and focuses on her musical abilities. It's getting stale.

Never mind the audience - she was having a whale of a time in that video. Given how good a singer she is, I'm sure the off-key parts of some verses were deliberate - especially given the big smile on her face during them. It complements some of the hilarious choreography. Besides which, bits such as that and the brief piano interlude prove that she's singing live rather than lip-synching to a studio recording (the preferred tactic of some artists)
