  • I took apart my decks... because I wanted to get my priorities straightened out with my rare cards. I know great decks can be made with commons... I just want to find ways to use some of the rares I have in my binder for deck building. I discovered that proliferating works very well with bloodthirst... so I was thinking of making a black or red-black vampire deck with my butchers as well as my gatekeepers of malakir... and my rakish heirs. Volt charge also proliferates... which is pretty cool.

  • I was going to use my legendary 6/7 trampling cyclops Borborygmos in my werewolf deck... but combo ideas popped into my mind... and I made a green-red trample-haste deck instead... that has excellent land tutoring for my big creatures. Battle ramparts can tap to give my big creatures (or any creature) haste while goblin warpaint can make my smaller creatures (or any other creature) that are summon sick have haste and an additional +2/+2. I would like to speed it up with my big 7/7 wurms.

  • After what I've experienced, I actually went through the trouble to take apart all but one of the decks that I made. Now... I have 5 precon decks, Teeth of the Predator, Hands of Flame, Knights, Dragons, and Carnival of Blood. In addition to that, I have my main pride and joy, my red-black gravedigging champion deck that has morbid-like benefits... and I recently added a mythic rare demon from Innistrad with a morbid ability to that deck. Innistrad's balefire dragon works quite well also.^_^
