Sharks are not 'dangerous' or 'human hunters'. Sharks do not hunt humans, sometimes people get killed by sharks because they can sometimes mistake us for like a seal or a turtle, like if you look at something far away from you but squint. That's whata sharks eye sight is like but sharks can never go blind or get cancer I think it's increadible, they are the perfect creatures! If a shark does happen to mistake a human for like a turtle or something they will normally release the human.

I agree with you...partially. There are hundreds of cases where divers and citizens have been going about their normal lives and been bitten by sharks. I wouldn't call the survivors of the Indianapolis a bunch of dimwits for being attacked. So right there, we have a case that refutes your generalization. And what about the Hawaiian surfer girl who had her arm bitten off by a shark? I doubt very much that it happened because she was a "dimwit."

@teakbridge101 Great white sharks dont actually like the taste of humans, most of the 'attacks' are because the shark has mistaken a person for something else, if the person is already bleeding and they smell the blood or if the shark is extremely hungry and there is nothing else for it to eat. Great White's are my favourite animals and ive done alot or reseach and work on them, there nothing like the reputation jaws has given them.

@0binator Yes they are beautiful creatures, but sharks are not dumb, they just dont have brains like us humans which mean they dont think like us. The reason why sharks attact us is because they think we are seals, cause sharks dont see as good as we do, and when the shark is about to bite, theyre eyes roll to the back of their head to protect their eyes, which means that by the time they see we arent seals theyre eyes are already rolled to the back of their head.

If I see a fish in the pond next to my house, I don't feel threatened and get the need to attack it in order to protect myself against something that couldn't possibly harm me in any way shape or form.
